WHO IS YEAH BUDDY! BAND ?
Yeah Buddy! Band is what happens when the stagehands take the stage. This power trio brings a refreshing blend of raw excitement and humor, delivering a tall cold can of Rock n’ Roll with a shot of Outlaw Country.
Jacobilly Jakebrake (guitar), Bird Dog Dixie (bass), and Rip Snortin (drums), met while working as roadies for countless legendary bands in Los Angeles. Becoming friends they discovered that they all shared a trucker Dad who traveled from California to Canada on highway 99 with multiple wives in different towns. As fate would have it, they realized they were half-brothers from different mothers! This unbreakable bond led them to form Yeah Buddy! Band, a force to be reckoned with.
Drawing inspiration from their own firsthand experiences, they craft songs that revolve around the themes of trucking, driving, working, and drinking.
Their debut album, “Hot Off The Line“, fired up the airwaves on the radio, earning them a spot on the Top 50 Roots Rock chart for multiple weeks peaking at number 25 . Hits like “18 Wheels of Hell’s Yeah,” “She Feels Alve,” and “No Big Deal” were featured on radio stations in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Building on their success, Yeah Buddy! Band released two singles in 2023 from their highly anticipated upcoming album. The tracks, “Just Enough” and “Pomona By Night,” quickly gained popularity on YouTube, with their original music videos showcasing the band’s unique personality and accumulating tens of thousands of views.
It’s on stage where Yeah Buddy! Band truly shines, captivating audiences with their high energy live performances. Whether it’s their own originals or timeless classics, their shows can get crowds up on their feet dancing. They’ve rocked numerous Southern California venues like Maui Sugar Mill Saloon, Harold’s Place, and Redwood Bar to legendary spots like Van Halen’s stomping-ground, Old Towne Pub. Yeah Buddy! Band has entertained audiences at major events like the “Best of The West Race” at Ocotillo Lodge in Arizona to a “Memorial Day Flag Run” in Malibu to packed backyard barbecues.
